Gfolerhof St. Leonhard
We run a farm in St. Leonhard above Brixen with our own pig farming and production of bacon, homemade sausages, salami and smoked sausages.
The young animals come from South Tyrol and are kept on our farm at around 1000 meters above sea level, in the fresh mountain air on the sunny southern slope, until they are slaughtered. We value species-appropriate animal husbandry with outdoor exercise all year round. The feeding is GMO-free and also includes grass and hay.
Our products are available all year round. The production is traditionally done by hand, directly on the farm. From September to February there is also fresh pork. We carry out all production steps ourselves (sausage production, smoking, bacon: seasoning, curing, smoking, maturing in the aging cellar).
You can find us every Saturday at the farmers' market in Brixen, but you are also welcome to order or shop from us at home.
